Easter

As usual- I'm late :)

We spent Easter Sunday with my family.  Char picked us up that morning and we headed west to check out our brother's sweet pad, of course after a pit stop for bloody Mary's...

We arrived (late) and was introduced to the new girlfriend.  My brother mixed me up a drink-- name is still pending, but pretty sure it should be something along the lines of One and Done.

We had some appetizers to pick at while we waited for the ham.  We gorged ourselves with all sorts of goodies, including a couple different pieces of pie.  Go on and judge.

Once everyone was done eating, my brother decides to do what every family does on Easter.  Shoot the shit.

I don't even know what it was we shot, but it went boom.  He handed the gun over to me (after making me hobble down the hill and back) and I somehow managed to blow it up on the second shot.  I was pretty proud of myself.  Pretty sure everyone else was a little more scared of me after that.

After that happened, the responsible adults made us put the guns away, causing the party to rapidly wind down.  He mixed up another drink that made a SnapChat appearance and I was drug out of the house to head home.

Char got us back home in one piece and peeled out of the driveway to go home.  I don't know why she wanted to get away from me...

Another Fun Filled Friday

I keep thinking today is Friday.  It's not.  Which is sort of good.  I have a house to clean before my helpers arrive tomorrow!

We're putting in a new underground fence for the two pooches.
Okay, mainly it's for the little one that likes to go visit the neighbors.
Peter and Wisconsin will be here tomorrow afternoon to help with that.  I'll probably be late to the party.  I'm still limping around and people keep telling me I should go get my knee looked at.
I have an appointment for tomorrow afternoon.  We're also going to try to make some of Grandma's famous fried chicken and mashed taters.  I'm pretty excited for that!

I hope you all have a very blessed Easter!  I'll be shoveling my face full of food at the brother's palace.  Rumor has it there might be a new girl involved?!

DJ Locked the Dog Up...

Which resulted in him escaping.  And eating my razor.  The dog, not DJ.

No shave December anyone??

Well Hello...

I survived Thanksgiving!!  And Black Friday!!

Char came up Wednesday and woke me from my cat nap.  We ate lunch and then got straight to work on wedding stuff sat on the couch and were really productive... So much for planning ahead!!  We decided to let future us worry about that wedding.  That is coming up.  THIS MONTH!!  WOOT WOOT!!  It's amazing how fast yet how slow this year has gone!!

We ended up at the neighbors eating pizza Wednesday night and headed back to the SHITMON to prepare for the big day.

Since Ma's dining room table is covered in wedding stuff, we held my family Thanksgiving at the SHITMON.  We got up that morning and cleaned (aka Char kicked the dogs and me out of the house) and then started making goodies.  The family started showing up a little before noon.  DJ's parents joined us and some wedding details were hashed out and a bottle or five of wine was drank.   Once the family left, we headed back to the neighbors where more wine may or may not have been consumed...

We came back and Char and I decided to get up at three in the morning to go shopping.  That quickly got pushed back until seven, which turned into 8:30.  Neither of us had anything we were dying to get so it worked out well.  With the exception of Kohl's, nothing was busy and we didn't wait in lines.

I'm off to see the one man who's ever told me I had pixie feet (yep-- that's love if I do say so myself) this weekend and then it's back to the wedding grind.

The next few weeks are full of finishing wedding details with a little big of work thrown in there too.  I can't wait to see everyone!!!  :)  Hopefully I'll be a little better of a blogger, but don't count on it!!

Wedding Planning Extended

Leo Roy came down last night to try on some dresses that my family has collected over the years to see if any would work for her to wear for DJ's and my wedding.  Surprisingly, they all fit.  Who knew someone so tall and skinny could fit into the same dresses us not-so-tall nor skinny Morrisons fit in!!  Neither of us cared which one she wore, but luckily we sent pictures to Chuckles and she decided for us.  Check that off the to-do list!!  :)

We also scratched off a lot of lotto tickets.  I think we won $5.  Not bad...

She also had a bag of stuff for me!  It was totally like Christmas!!  It contained parts of my bachelorette party gift and then this little homemade box of love.

I opened it up and it was a piece of paper and the first thing I read was "Something Old" with a checkmark.  This instantly scared me.  I thought she had kept some embarrassing item from when we were little, maybe some goop, and had kept it all these years for me.  I kept reading though and my day was then made!!  Check it out at CropDoc's Blog!!

I should probably start dieting and practicing arts and craft time now...

My Day

Another week has come and gone and I'm still catching up!

Last weekend was another busy one.  Char and Peter have been putting together a bridal shower/bachelorette party for me and last weekend we they made it happen.

Since I didn't register for a ton of things at Bed Bath and Beyond, we had a mixture between a regular shower and a Pampered Chef shower.  I got some awesome stuff from both places and am now trying to figure out where to put things in cupboards-- always a good time!!  We had enough food to feed an army and we played a game where the guests got to know me (and DJ) a little better-- I haven't decided if this was good or bad yet!  Some of them were surprised to hear I have a blog-- welcome!!  (Apparently they didn't read their save the dates!!!)

After the shower we headed to El Rodeo for some lunch margaritas.  A pitcher later, we had a photo op and I'm not sure I want to see those!!

We headed to the nail salon where our toes were made presentable.  Did you know they do fake nails for toes??  Yeah, me neither.  Don't ask-- it's a disturbing story and I won't post pictures since you may be eating right now...

The original plans were to head to a restuarant and eat, but for the first time in our lives, all three of us Morrison girls weren't hungry.  The rest of the clan welcomed the idea of a break from food, so we headed back to the SHITMON and hung out and finished off a bottle of booze the pickle wraps.

Once most of the girls left, DJ called and needed a ride from the shop to the field.  Duty calls so we loaded up and went after him... new red cow and all.

We picked him up, dropped him off, and picked up pizza.  We downed the pizza and called it a night shortly after that.

The weather was perfect and the company even better-- thanks to everyone who made the trip to help celebrate!!  See you all NYE!! :)

Kansas. Take II

This past weekend I went back to Kansas.  I didn't make the trip solo this time.  I headed back home and then Pa and I took off for our annual race weekend.  He usually gives me a couple hours notice before we decide to go; this time he gave me a couple weeks.  Lucky for us, the couple that went with us booked our hotel for us so there were no bugs, bullet proof glass, or strangers sharing our room with us on this trip.  (Yes.  All of those things have previously happened to us on these weekends.)  This hotel was a little nicer than we were used to.

Our hotel.  And the back of Pa's head.
We got our bags into the room and then went down to the bar to meet before supper.  We had a drink and then headed off to find food.  We ate and watched some football before heading back to the hotel bar.  I recalled a time when we weren't able to buy alcohol before the race, so we made a trip to the liquor store that night and stocked up on some goodies.  We got back to the hotel to watch the Huskers lose (sorry Ma) and called it a night.

We were up and out of the hotel on time and headed to the track.  We got parked and tailgated for a few hours before the race started.  We had really good seats in a different section than we had had in previous years.

The cool flyover

I jinxed Gordon by going to the race (like every time I go...), but hopefully he'll still find a way to get his 5th Championship!

Another good trip for the books :)

Weekend Travels

Last weekend I headed off to Kansas while DJ got ready for harvest.

After what seemed like forever, I finally got out of construction and into a different state.  One or two turn arounds later, I was picking up supper at a sketchy pizza joint in small town Kansas.  (Note: the pizza itself was pretty good.)  I sped off towards the ranch and made it shortly after my little Radish's bedtime.  Which meant her mom and I stayed up all night catching up and reminiscing.

Saturday we went for a walk in the city park.  I was able to practice up on my car seat and stroller strapping skills-- it's been a day or two since I've had to do that!  We headed back to the house for lunch and then it was nap time for Radish and then for her mom!  I took some flower girl dresses with me for her to try on so we had a little fashion show while her mom slept.  Pretty sure she might be the cutest thing ever!

We made an attempt at Grandma's fried chicken and mashed tators and gravy for supper.  I was pretty impressed with our work.  It wasn't as good as Grandma's, but I think we're getting close.  We spent the rest of the night hanging out and telling tall tales of their wedding reception...

I spent the morning with them before loading up and heading back home.

Weekend Happenings

I was able to get off work early on Friday and went to the greenhouse with my neighbor.  After sweating more than a couple of football players at two-a-days, we headed to happy hour for some margaritas.  Once we cooled down we headed home and I got ready to head north to Jill's going away party.  She's headed to Florida (not for vacation, Ma) so she had a little get together and Juice and I were able to crash it!  After a few embarrassing memories and more embarrassing photos, Juice and I called it a night and headed home.

Saturday DJ got up and smoked some bacon.  I headed into work and then back home to get ready to meet Ma for wedding planning.  We went to the consistory to check it out and then the hotel to make sure everything is squared away there.  From there we went to check out the linen store and decided on tablecloths-- chalk up one major decision made!  Peter joined us for that and then we headed to talk to the caterer.  We have a tasting set up-- let's hope it's good because I'm not sure where else we'd go to try out!

I headed home and DJ had me get ready and we headed to a friend's place where the dogs and I unknowingly, crashed a bachelor party-- whoopsie!  We picked up a pizza and called it a night.

Yesterday I went to brunch for Zip's birthday and watched him open presents.  I had to head into work from there and then came home and worked on more wedding things-- this thing might come together yet!!

Will It Do?

I thought I posted the romantic story of our engagement, but looking back to find the link, apparently I have not.

Just a warning, you guys might need to break out the tissues for this one.

We went back to Ma and Pa's for Christmas and then came back to the SHITMON.  DJ opened his presents and we went about our normal lives.  My goal over my "Christmas Break" from work was to clean the house.  The day after Christmas, I was working on cleaning the office.  DJ said he was going to go fuel up the skid-steer so it was ready to go for the next snow.  Alright, see ya later.

He calls a bit later and told me that since he's already half way there, he's just going to go pick up my ring.

Uhh... okay??

He comes back and comes inside and goes back out.  I keep cleaning.  After a bit I go out to the kitchen and see he had set the bag on the counter.  Hmm...

I go back to cleaning.  He comes in and out a few more times.  I eventually go back to the kitchen and was sitting at the bar.

He comes back in and asks if I had looked at it.  Uhh... no, I don't think that's how it's supposed to work.  He asked if I wanted to and I just kinda looked at him and was like well yeah?!  He grabs the bag and pulls out the box and hands it to me.  "Will it do?"  Between giggles I was able to muster out a yeah.  I put it on and then he said he had to go push snow and left.

There was no "Will you marry me?" or anything of the sort.  I just took a picture of it and sent it to the family and let them assume what they wanted!!

Marley in the Making

Have you ever read the book, or even seen the movie, Marley and Me?  It's a true story based on the author's dog.  He's kind of a hellion.

I think he's back.  This time his name is MC.

He's managed to break two kennel bottoms.  He's ate a couple remotes-- good thing we didn't watch that TV much anyway!  He's ripped up a few blankets.  And working on a mattress.  He's a complete bully to other dogs; he often gets in trouble for dragging his older brother around by the neck/collar.  He opens the door, but doesn't close it (this may have come from watching DJ do the same thing).  I haven't been able to find my flip flop for a long, long time.  He barks at children.  He doesn't like people.  I think his favorite activity is trying to knock me over.  He thinks the basement is the perfect place to do his doo-doo-dees.

And then he transforms into the biggest cuddle bug.  With a face that can melt even the coldest of hearts.

Aww we love the big ol lug.

At the end of the movie they have to put Marley down and bury him.  I'm already dreading that day!  Until then, I guess I'll just keep cleaning up his messes.

Wedding Update

I'm not sure this can even be considered an update.  That's how little we have gotten done for this shindig...

Here's what we DO have:
Date: December 31, 2014. Yes, we realize this is New Year's Eve.  And that it is on a Wednesday.
Party Location: Let's face it, everyone comes for the party, especially on NYE!  Downtown may never be the same...
Wedding Party: We haven't asked everyone yet though, so I guess I can't say too much here.
Dress: I have a dress.  I'm the girl who buys a wedding dress before she's engaged.  Quit judging.
Colors: Neutrals.  What does that mean?  I don't know.  Ask my wedding planner.  Aka: MS
Band: Kind of.  He's making calls to make sure everyone is in...
Two bouquets are done.  Thanks to CJ, aka Lil Poo Dog.
Oh, and we have an officiant!

I think that about sums it up.  Not bad for being over 25% of the way there--I think this year is going faster than normal ones!

To Do:
Photographer.
Caterer.
Drinks.
Ceremony location.
Attire for everyone else.
Party favors.
Decorations.
Hair.
Shoes.
Cake.
Invites.
Save the dates.
Engagement pictures.

The list keeps growing instead of shrinking... And with that, I'm off to do something completely not related to this wedding!

2013

2013 is over.  I'm pretty sure if the weather was nicer, I would still think it was September.  Where did the year go!?  Crazy.

It was most definitely a year to remember!  Both good and bad, but here are the main things I remember from each month.

January: A good new years day makes for a rough second.

February: Our yearly trip to the beef expo.

March: Pony Express auction to celebrate St. Patty's day.

April:  My green thumb flared up and I started planning my garden and flowers.

May: I heard our house whistle for the first time when the storm blew through.

June: UC went to be with JDB, CJ, and BO.

July: A girls trip to WI for a weekend concert to relax after the barn burnt down and the pony went to OS's.

August:  State fair, plus I entered my first pie contest (and won!).

September: MC joined the family once we got back from our last minute-plans changed-book it SD vacation

October: My little Radish was born!

November: We learned Pa has cancer.

December: DJ gave me a ring

I hope you also had a year to remember and this new year brings great things for you all.  Stay tuned to see what kind of trouble we can get into in 2014!

$$$

Last week DJ found out just how expensive I am to live with. First he went and bought MS a new bumper for her BMW that I may or may not have backed into. (I was told that was my Christmas present) Then he went and bought a new door to replace the one I put a hole in, well the barstool put a hole in when it fell as I was getting off...

I wonder if he's starting to rethink things!?

Lordy Lordy

A part of me is dreading this coming week.  A part of me can't wait for it.  All of me is thankful that the good Lord above will get us through it.  I am thankful he is always there for us and that he is forgiving, because anyone who knows me (and many who don't...), knows that there have been a time or two I have needed forgiven.  He has been with us through everything, and this week especially, my family and I need your prayers.

We really appreciate it.

Thank you
xoxo

E-I-E-I-O

I can't say this enough times, but I am so thankful for farmers!! While most don't portray the picture that the song "Old McDonald" paints, they've had a huge influence on my life! My childhood, my education, my jobs, my present, and my future.

While I didn't grow up as the farmer's daughter, I did grow up in a farming community.  Pa has always worked in the agricultural field, working early hours and late nights to provide his services and products to the farmers.  I would often ride with him.  I loved being in the sprayer, "Bear" (a semi truck-- hmm, see DJ and I really are meant to be- ha!), tractors, combines, or even just his truck driving around.  I always asked ask who lives there, or who farms that?  I'm not sure if he really knew or if he just said a name-- it's a complete toss up really!!  We'd drive around and look at crops and get out and walk fields.  I was his little helper.  I spent many afternoons/evenings standing around some farmer's shed with the guys.

My grandparents owned a farm and did both row crops and livestock.  I was always there riding or helping Gpa with the horses.  We would ride back around the field to check on the cattle.  I was in FFA and on the beef team in high school.  I worked at the chicken ranch, not to be confused with the Pizza Ranch!!  The chicken ranch was the term we gave the egg packing plant.  There were maybe three of us girls working there through high school.  It was not the most pleasant, but we would rather be there than all dolled up working retail or something!  I went off to college and helped in the hog barns.  I graduated with a BS in animal science.

I worked summers at a crop dusting company and fell in love with it!  I decided that I needed to take some classes in agronomy.  Then I found my internship, which led to my job, and DJ.

Now I'm back to riding in the trucks, tractors, semi's, combines and standing in sheds with the guys. I'm back to going on crop tours and giving the guys rides when they need it.  I check the rain gauge.  I go out and feed the "hay burners" in blizzards.  I haul hay racks home in the heat of the summer.

I am one of the very few lucky ones who get to see first hand the hard work that farmers put in throughout the year.  I see the risk they deal with first hand.  So next time you see a farmer, thank him or her, your belly is full because of them!

As I Stuff My Face...

HELLO!!

We had a makeover last night.  Just to celebrate my 100th post!  (Okay, maybe the truth sounds something more like, I finally found a tutorial I could follow and while I was doing that I discovered this would be the 100th...)  Aren't I talented!?  I was impressed with myself!  Pa actually took the picture of the windmill, so I must thank him, but the "editing" I totally did on my own!!  Impressive, right?!  But on to day 22 of me being thankful!  (where did this month go?!)

DJ once told me he liked me the way I was.  Not too skinny.  Although, I'm pretty sure he failed to mention I wasn't too fat...  But anywho, as I sit here and stuff my face with a healthy salad the largest salad I've ever seen in my life, I'm so thankful that he doesn't pressure me to stay skinny.  He once told me that OS was too skinny.  He didn't want me to get that skinny.  So I asked what about MS?  He said she was just about perfect.  (I guess that makes me the fat sister?!)  It's nice to know that I can participate in one of my favorite hobbies without having to worry about what he'll think if I put on a few more pounds.  I think we're a match made in Heaven!!

Ugh

Third time writing.

I've written about a couple different things now. But it's late and I'm hungry so tonight I'll write about how thankful I am for the food I put in my belly.

And with that I'm off to eat ...

On a Roll

Day 2.  (Warning: this went from a one paragraph post to the 2nd longest post ever...with pictures)

So far I haven't missed a day.  I'm impressed with myself.

I'm thankful for my four legged chillins, both living and passed.  They have all taught me more than the 18 years of schooling I went through.  They've taught me real life lessons that you can't get from books.  They're always there when you've had a bad day and want nothing more than for you to be happy.  They've taught me patience, kindness, love, how to nurture, how to react in an emergency, how to compete, how to always try to better myself.  They've taught me to live each day to the fullest and how precious life really is.  They have taught me not to hold grudges, that most things won't matter in five years, or really, quite often, five minutes.

Just this morning, I was heading out to pick DJ up and help move them to a new field and I loaded the dogs up and MC ralphed.  Not just once, but three times.  In my vehicle.  (all in different spots, all of which had cracks/crevices for it to run down into...)  Instead of getting mad because now I was going to get in "trouble" with the boss man for being late cuz I had to stop and clean it up, I was more worried about the little guy's upset tum tum.  (Note: He is back to being his wild and crazy self, so I think he's over it.  And I didn't get in trouble for DJ having to wait on us!)

I had multiple pets growing up.  The family dog, CJ.  He taught me to get along with everyone.  That dog would have done anything for anyone.  He had his route around town that he would go on everyday, stopping by to say hi to multiple people.  He would go to work with Pa everyday and sometimes go watch the high school football or track teams practice.  Everyone knew Ol' CJ.
A random cat showed up and I named her MW.  She ended up having kittens.  We were able to give them away, but I kept LT.  He was so fat and fluffy.  I'm not even a cat person, but you couldn't help but love him.  And then one day Pa found him stuck between two railroad ties (that's what they told me anyway...).  MW left shortly after that.  They taught me to have an open mind.  Or that I'm a sucker for anything with four legs and in need...
MS had LR.  We thought he was a she until one day Ma spotted something between his back legs...  I wasn't fond of that old cat, but when I would get in trouble, he was there to comfort me.  He taught me not to hold grudges.  Even though I didn't give him much attention he was there when I needed someone.

I picked out Pony when I was 10.  He was supposed to turn gray.  ha.  He's as brown as brown can be.  The one color I didn't want, but I love him.  He's taught me soooo much.  I was the first one on him, and the only one for quite awhile as I was only ten and probably weighed nothing.  From then on, if I wasn't playing ball, I was probably out at the farm with him.  Some days we would work on backing, side passing, pivoting.  Other days we would just go ride around the field.  I showed him, used him to give trail rides to kids at camp, took him to petting zoos.  He's far from perfect, but I wouldn't sell him.  He knows my mood.  If I'm in a good mood, he might be a handful.  If I'm in a bad mood, he'll do anything I ask.  He knows who is on him and he knows when he needs to set an example for the youngin's now.  He's 15 now and makes me feel old.  Some days he still acts like he's a three year old, but that reassures me he still feels good!  He has taught me more than I could ever explain.  Horses will do that to a person!  He taught me to trust.  We have to trust one another.  He's had to get us back home before when we're lost on the trails (or off of them...) and if I ask him to do something new and scary, he has to trust me that it's gonna be okay!  Here we are last year at the competition I wrote about.
Scary spiders don't faze him.
MS gave me JDB my first year at ISU.  It was "a trial run," which to MS means, she's all yours now.  BM found out he is allergic to dogs so they had to get rid of her.  She taught me to have fun in everything.  She was hilarious.  She would entertain herself (and anyone watching) for hours.  She was crazy!!  She loved to run, so I decided to leave her home with ma and pa so she could run instead of being cooped up in my apartment.  Pa called one day to tell me that a friend was jogging and found her at the end of the driveway.  I don't know what happened to her, but I can tell you that she lived everyday to the fullest.  For being a dog, she never slept!  She was always going!!  That following Christmas, we were opening presents and a cast iron skillet was thrown and landed on my toe.  I was laughing so hard and then I started crying.  No one knew why I was crying until I was like I miss JDB.  And then half the room started crying too, because even though SH tormented her, he loved her.  She was a pistol, just like he is.
What you lookin' at!?

The sisters and I went and picked up JW a couple hours away.  I found him online.  They had found him on the streets.  They said he was a puggle that was a little over a year old.  We got to him and I wasn't sure what I had gotten into.  He wasn't a puggle and he looked about 12 and ready to keel over, but I loaded him up.  He moved into my apartment ("illegally) with MP and me and all he did was lay there.  I would occasionally be able to get him to play, but not often.  And then one day the city tested their tornado sirens.  He went nuts.  He was howling at them and I was dying laughing.  We moved into DJ's place and he discovered that he loves to run.  He's like the Forrest Gump of dogs and for only having stubby little legs, he can move!!  He has taught me a lot.  He taught me to never stop smiling.  He always has his grill out smiling at the world.  He helped get me through when UC passed.  We helped each other heal.
G-Ma calls it a snaggle tooth, I just like to smile

UC.  You've already read about all we went through.  I miss that dog alllll the time!  I'm still not used to him being gone.  JW isn't either.  That dog taught me to never leave a man behind!!  Seriously, JW got locked in the shed and UC sat there and waited.  MD pulled up and wondered why UC was there and not JW.  Then he opened the door and figured it out!  When JW got caught in the trap, UC waited with him for me to get there.  That's how I found him, I spotted UC's head sticking up out of the grass.

Eating is hard work
Which brings us to MC.  Oh MC.  I think he is teaching me how to care for a kid.  It's like all those years of babysitting wrapped up in this little guy that I can't take back to his parents cuz I loooove him!  He's my first puppy and he is perfect.  We love him, but the 14 wake up calls a night are getting a little old!!  He goes goes goes and gets along with everyone.  He's learning so much and never gives up.
This is a lot of work but don't worry, I got this!!

So there you have it.  Another long post about the animals in my life!!  Have a great weekend!!

He's Here!

As promised, here is the newest member of the family!  Sorry for the terrible quality pictures, they're all from my phone since that is what I usually have with me!!  And NOW...

Introducing, MC.

(and the crowd goes wild...)

DJ and I went down to see the puppies.  She had had two litters within three days of each other and I believe she had a total of 15 puppies.  They were 4 months old when we first visited. .

MC at 4 months
We drove down to see him and his sisters the week before we left on vacation.  As soon as she opened the pen, legs and tails went everywhere!  MC was the first puppy to come over to me, so I was thrilled to know that it was the only male left!  After we asked lots of questions and played with the puppies, we asked the breeder if she would be willing to keep him until we got back and then we could pick him up.  She was more than happy to do that for us.

JW wasn't real sure what to think of him.  He blew MC off when we brought him home.  I think he is figuring out that this is his new partner in crime and it won't be too long until JW leads him astray!!  It seems that MC picks up on only the naughty things JW does!  (Mainly annoying things for a dog his size, but things I want to prevent becoming habitual for a dog that will be bigger than me.)

JW decided to let MC on his bed with him.
We got him when he was around 4.5 months old.  When we took him to the vet, they looked at his teeth and discovered that he still had some baby ones.  So far I've found three of them.
One of his last baby teeth.
He is really learning things quickly.  He can entertain himself for quite awhile outside with his toys and the sticks that he can find.  He also loves to pull weeds (and occasionally some flowers) for me.

Helping mom plant some bulbs.

Ehh, I guess we can keep him...

He's also figuring out that five letter word that every dog should know:
Treat!!

Mmm, a treat!
He isn't nearly as picky as JW about those, but he does eat them pretty slowly and off away from everyone else like JW.

While he does remind us a lot of UC, he definitely has his own personality!  Luckily he doesn't mind water and it will be fun to see if he will go swimming when it warms back up.  I'm also excited for the first snow and to watch him play in it.  UC loved the snow and would roll in it and cover his face in it.  Hopefully MC does too and isn't quite as wimpy as JW when it comes to the cold weather!!

Stay tuned for more UC and JW updates... I'm sure they're plotting their first adventure!!
